One of the most common and taught discipline in church today is faith; defined as, “great trust or confidence in something or someone [Cambridge dictionary]. In Christianity, it is the anchor of our relationship with God. We cannot remove faith from the spiritual equation because it glues the other eight spiritual fruits.

By faith:

Wondering how faith does it all? The book of Hebrews has the best description of how faithfulness crafted the events in the OLD&NEW testaments. I recommend reading Hebrews 11__but I am going to cite a few important verses for reflection: -

a). By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen wasn’t made from things that are visible__Hebrews 11:3

b). By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous…. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks__Hebrews 11:4

c). By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was even going__Hebrews 11: 8

d). By faith Sarah herself received power conceive…__Hebrews 11:11

The verses above tell us how faith did the Impossible. God is going to move walls and cultivate your hills flat if you have faith in him. Jesus once told his disciples that if they had faith as small as a mastered seed, they could have commanded mountains to move! [Mathew 17:20]. The good news brethren is that we also count among those who can move mountains!

After contemplating the significance of faith, is God telling you something? Has he called you to do something, but doubt stole that atmosphere? Do you still not trust God?

Testimony [spiritual renewal of faith]:

Accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior in 2014 is the best decision I have ever made. My Faith was little, I couldn’t fully trust an invisible-Almighty entity after reading the bible. Two weeks later, I just let the Holy spirit do his work by inclining from my pride, world knowledge, the noise within me, and retreated to a three-day prayer. These prayer-days renewed my understanding and faith in God ever since. He led me to Jeremiah 29:11, a famous scripture and that was my first time I felt Him guiding me!

As I conclude, it’s reasonable for all of us to have different ways we turn to and have this spiritual renewal. From my point of view, it always starts with a prayer! Pray without ceasing__1 Thes 5:17

“Prayer is the best ammo in our spiritual Arsenal “__Timothy K. Ramsey.
